The water level of the Stawiska Reservoir in Lower Silesia is rising
This is due to heavy rains associated with a cyclone over Poland
The inhabitants of the commune are not threatened
In connection with the increasing water level in the Stawiska Reservoir, the Commune Crisis Management Team met on June 9, 2023. The team includes, among others, representatives of the Local Crisis Management Center, the Municipal Police, the Municipal Water and Sewage Company, representatives of the fire brigade and the police. The meeting was also attended by the wójt of the Gmina Strzegom, Zbigniew Suchyta.
The speakers informed about the current situation. The water level in the Stawiska Reservoir has exceeded the level of 122 m above sea level. The admissible limit is 125 m a.s.l. Currently, there is no risk of flooding the inhabitants of the commune.
The services are monitoring the situation on an ongoing basis and are prepared to take action in the event of a real threat.
